Ask About Availability
From strategy to ideation, from UX to pushing pixels, freelancers rightly claim these abilities. With me, you also get synthesizing skills gained from years of architecture training, and user-empathy from years of frontline helpdesk support.
SYNTHESIS: On a quick job for an agency, I was redirected to create some slides comparing the client’s site with it’s competitors. Upon seeing my slides, the
agency director agreed to my taking the week to produce a full competitive analysis. After the presentation, the client had me present to their internal global clients, and then to their sister line-of-biz.
Agencies typically pitch quarterly campaigns. Over the subsequent weeks, I synthesized what I'd learned about the client's business ecosystem, to develop a novel SAAS-based platform strategy serving as the self-sustaining core to their brand's customer relationship.
USER EMPATHY: Ever had your team's user-advocate come with 5 years of advocating for their userbase, to CEOs and CFOs? IT departments get a bad rap as being “a necessary evil” and unsympathetic to users' plights.
Self-taught in IT management, but keenly curious in cases where users get hung up on the tech they're issued, I dedicated years crafting meaningful solutions for my users, while packaging the solutions as initiatives that mapped to business value.
